Johnny Langdon — Founder
Johnny Langdon is the Founder and President of Bumbershoot Productions, Inc., a Fort Worth based motion picture development company, which he runs with independent film producers Carolyn Pfeiffer and Susan O'Connell and independent production guru, David Alper. BPI manages the acquisition of theatrical rights to literary properties and creates original material.
Susan O'Connell — Vice President
Susan O'Connell was been in the film industry for forty years. She studied theatre, film and television at UCLA. While still at UCLA, she co-founded Video Studios, Inc. which she managed from 1971 - 1973. She also designed and constructed a mobile, four-camera video van for Leon Russell and Shelter Records. Simultaneously she worked as a professional actress and guest-starred in over a dozen television episodes.
Carolyn Pfeiffer — Producer
Carolyn Pfeiffer joined Bumbershoot Productions as a consultant and producer in 2008.
Pfeiffer first worked in Rome on films including Fellini's 8½, Visconti's THE LEOPARD and Blake Edwards's THE PINK PANTHER. She then moved to Paris and worked as an associate producer for Alain Delon's production company. While in Paris she was also executive assistant to Omar Sharif and worked on many of his films, including DOCTOR ZHIVAGO.
Stan Coleman — Legal Counsel
Stan Coleman is a partner in Weissmann, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman, Grodin & Evall, LLP, a Beverly Hills-based law firm. Coleman specializes in entertainment law and was one of the founding partners of the firm in 1981. Prior to that time, he was a partner in the Beverly Hills firm of Kaplan, Livingston, Goodwin, Berkowitz & Selvin.
Mr. Coleman's practice consists primarily of the representation of writers, directors, actors, and producers in motion pictures, television and on the legitimate stage. Many of his clients have been nominated for or have won Oscars, Emmys, Tonys and Pulitzer Prizes, among numerous other awards.
David Alper — Consigliere/Executive Producer
David Alper works as a consultant in the motion picture business. David is an advisor, representing and collaborating with independent producers, financiers and studios with respect to developing, packaging, financing and distribution of motion pictures. David is also involved in corporate acquisitions and related business matters.
